About the society
The Society for Alternatives to Animal Experiments-India (SAAE-I) is one of the most vibrant scientific societies in the country, hosting regular annual meetings across different regions of India. SAAE-I actively promotes humane research, education, and training practices aligned with the internationally accepted concept of the '3Rs'—Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement—advocating for New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) in education, research, and testing.
About the conference
The 8th Annual Conference of SAAE-I aims to bring together stakeholders of the 3Rs—including those from academia, the scientific community, industry, government, and animal behaviour/welfare sectors—to raise awareness and facilitate the exchange of information and ideas on alternative approaches to Animals experiments.
