Indo-US Workshop on Human Diversity and Health Disparities

January 16 – 18, 2020, Hyderabad, INDIA


Aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers to understand and address the genetic basis of health disparities in different ethnic populations in South Asia, USA and other parts of the world. The workshop will also provide opportunities to formally develop disease-specific working groups. Furthermore, understanding the genetics underlying diversity and health disparities in Indian population will aid to India’s quest for developing "precision or personalized medicine".
